NVEX and Tongwon University Lifelong Education Center Partner to Establish an AI & K-Culture Talent Development Hub in Southeastern Gyeonggi

AI edtech company NVEX has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Lifelong Education Center at Tongwon University to establish a regional hub for developing AI and K-Culture professionals in southeastern Gyeonggi Province, marking a new step toward expanding the region’s AI education ecosystem.

NVEX announced that it signed the agreement with the Lifelong Education Center at Tongwon University on the 23rd to jointly develop and operate specialized education programs for different stages of life, powered by NVEX’s AI education platform, MEWZ. The partnership is part of an industry-academia collaboration aimed at building an AI and K-Culture education ecosystem across Gyeonggi Province and fostering professionals equipped to lead in the era of AI transformation.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate across a range of areas, including joint development and operation of lifecycle-based AI and K-Culture curricula; establishment of integrated online and offline education systems using AI education platforms; hands-on AI and K-Culture training powered by MEWZ; introduction of AI courses based on KLAVX; and development of specialized AI talent within the region.

In particular, the two organizations will jointly design progressive programs tailored to the needs of diverse learners, including students, adult learners, working professionals, and middle-aged and older adults. The curricula will follow a project-based learning model spanning AI literacy, AI-powered music, video and content creation, workplace productivity, and practical applications in industry.

The partnership will also introduce specialized AI and AX (AI Transformation) education for CEOs and executives in connection with Tongwon University’s existing executive education program. The program has long provided management and leadership education as well as professional networking opportunities for local business leaders and executives across various sectors.

Building on the program’s curriculum and executive network, NVEX and Tongwon University plan to jointly develop specialized education tracks covering AI-powered workplace productivity, AI marketing, AI agents, customer management, and enterprise AX strategy.

Through these initiatives, the partnership aims to help business leaders in southeastern Gyeonggi—including Gwangju and Icheon—move beyond simply understanding generative AI and apply it directly to business management and workplace innovation.

Looking ahead, the two organizations plan to connect these programs with company-specific AX assessments, hands-on workshops, business problem-solving projects, and project presentations, with the goal of developing Tongwon University into a leading AI and AX education and business innovation hub in southeastern Gyeonggi Province.

NVEX provides AI education services to schools, public institutions, and businesses based on its AI education platform and hands-on professional training content. Through this partnership, the company plans to further expand locally tailored AI education models in collaboration with universities.

“AI education must go beyond simply acquiring technical skills and serve as a foundation for industries, culture, and local communities to grow together,” said Cho Seung-hyun, CEO of NVEX. “Through our partnership with Tongwon University, we will build an educational ecosystem where anyone can easily learn and apply AI, while continuously fostering AI professionals who can create meaningful value in local communities and industries.”
