Dongwon University Lifelong Education Center 'Introduction to Generative AI,' Week 1: Taking the First Step with MEWZ

NVEX has successfully completed the first week of its Introduction to Generative AI course at Dongwon University's Lifelong Education Center.

The course is designed as a five-week journey in which each participant creates their own autobiography as a complete animated piece.
The theme of Week 1, the very first step, was "Starting a Conversation with AI." Using our AI platform MEWZ, participants engaged in their first-ever conversations with AI and crafted everything from a self-introduction to a six-sentence autobiography on their own.

The class opened on a light note with an O/X quiz—posing questions like "Is everything AI tells you always true?" It then unpacked the concept of generative AI, its everyday applications, and how to spot AI hallucinations, all explained through familiar, real-life experiences rather than difficult technical jargon.

The heart of the day was "giving AI a role." Starting from a single line—"You are a writer who ghostwrites autobiographies"—participants conducted interviews that helped them distill their life stories into six scenes. These six sentences become the raw material that will carry through the next five weeks as images, video, and sound.

The self-introductions and autobiographies the participants completed are saved directly in MEWZ, serving as the starting point for next week's image work.
